  2. If you can't open any programs it's probably a software problem. Basically you need a better antivirus or you need to reinstall windows on that comp. Back up everything on that comp first then reinstall windows.

For the antivirus, I have a few recommendations: (All are free)
*"Spybot: Search and Destroy": (Adware/Malware removal program and registry protector) http://www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html
*"Microsoft Security Essentials": http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ Released by Microsoft and therefore needs a genuine windows to run it
*"avast!": http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download This is an alternative to MSE if ur windows is fake.

Hope these recommendations help. If they don't then you really need to repair your comp.

    Anyways, keep blogging.

  3. I don't think it is a virus. What do you mean by task prevention? You mean Data Execution Prevention?

Say, you run Task Manager and then a message says that Task Manager has to be closed to protect your computer. Or even Explorer, you don't want that to happen. ;O

If that's the case, the only way is to reinstall Windows so that you can run TM again.
