long time no post! i jsut realised view passed 2011, for the new year! and many more to come.

to update, today... was amazing. watched Burlesque and yesyes, i had my own doubts whether it'd be good, its staring christina aguilera, never really got into moulin rouge, predictable plotline, but all my doubts were well away.

CLASSY and FABULOUS. thats a possible way to sum it up. Christina's voice was amazinggg though i rkon my favv song outta the 'musical' would've been bound to me.



but yes SOOOOo goood and i cannot stoppp squealing at... Cam Gigandet;

been driving hahas and guess i still need more practice... so after 2mr, it'll be 4.5/120 hours...thats progress ... slight. no worries, practice makes perfect, but if 'perfection is like an asymptote'.... okay lets not go there. hope heats not getting to people, though QLD's got it pretty bad with two more cyclones after the original attack. :( should prob donate more money. will do.

todayyy so flyyy so hiiighhh so .... hot.

after hearing from everyone what a hassle enrolment is, i decided to go half an hr earlier [12:30 though mine started at 1] but not to worry, meaning it was pretty much over before i realised i.

three steps
1. check forms
2. get forms check
3. photo taken ok done!~

well, now needa get lab coats... imagine wearing such a coat during summer .... like 40 degrees omgs x_x darn you chemistryyy :( they better be sexy >=/ i mean... of course. hahas well the upside... 'i'll be mixing up some drugs'.... or so i wonder. wow how convenient would that be, dont get me wrong im not a druggie.

but one very annoying thing is, after all thsi time i tought i'd finally get my timetable. i was wrong. WRONG. apps needa wait til o-week but im soo impatient. everyone making their tiemtables to sync wif others, everyone already knowing how meni hrs they're doing, what subjects they're taking, who wif, WHATABOUTT MEE~~ :( i want mineee NAOOO but instead, all i get is a form to go buy my uniform. sigh, i dont even know when o-week is but oh wells, looking forward to finding outs.

on a sidenote! still dont know the quickest way to get to usyd :(

fresh start

UNI..... enrolment 2morroww omgs i cant tell if im nervous or excited hahahs hearing all these random things like 26 hrs a week for my course, the level of difficulty of random subjects, the confusion of what credit points are and when holidays are!. looks like jsut have to be patient and see for myself tomorrow!

cannot believe spent the day sleeping/napping for 5 hours hope i can get some rest tonight, not much to say, pretty tired after long day. t'was nice catching up wif certain peoples hehesh brought back the good ol' times and definately soemthing i'm looking forward to this year! a brand new start. ;D

SUNSHINEEE

mad funnn. hit bondi, first time since a very long timmme and gotta sey was prettayy dammmnn goooood. gosh could already feel the rush of people before stepping foot on the 'overly-packed train', joking that ppl didnt HAVE to be getting off at bondi, perhaps King's at like 11am. i mean, who wouldnt? ;D im kidding.


this spot/view was considered 'rather empty'

was sucha hot dayy....steaming that we decided to snack on strawberry milk and melted timtams. we are so-not-weird. just still young and cant fight temptations. yesterday was a nice look from someone -hinthinttt- if this person understands me. hehe. though service this time round was prob only 6/10 for both parties because we both got sunburnnnt pretty funnily. being naturally 'dark' and not getting burnt much, yesterday came as quite a shock when i stepped into the shower to feel only pain. hahha tsktsk its what i got from doing a leg-lockdown.

:( perhaps try that where theres no ...sun? ;D or perhaps more sunsscreen next time

after grabbing a bite, queuing the extremely long bathroom/changeroom lines and then bussing it back to the junction, we were left with a few ideas.

1. go home

2. sit on the comfy chairs inside the shopping centre til they kick us out (6pm close)

3. catch a movie

4. chill at a coffee lounge

so, after being rejected by the bad-timing movie screenings, decided to hit Max Brenner for abit of a choccy treat. I was immediately hit by the novelty of a Suckao, a DIY hot choc? wow sounds funky. but then also tossed between that and a Cookieshake only koz i liked the cup it was served in. haha silly me so in the end we decided to grab both.

i was quite bewildered when they brought me this, unable to comprehend how, exactly to make/stir/drink this little beauty. after shoving a few choc bits into the 'Suckao' cup, stirring... that was it. I had to ask how to drink it. Well, guess what. apparently the metal stirring spoon was actually a metal straw! okok... i get fascinated at small things but yeah! this was quite a novelty idea of hot choc though in the end... i burnt my mouth on the metal straw and we decided to divulge the little choc bits instead of adding them all to the drink [too sweet!] overall, 7/10. ;D was quite the fun though on a lazy day...would prob cbb DIY-ing.

So, the description of this 'cookieshake' was darn captivating since im a cookies&cream icecream lover and the idea of that, as a thickshake instantly brought 'YUMM!' in my mind. even better, finally seeing this cuteee cupp. ;D ahahs welll the shake really does bring a hint of uniqueness as its not everyday u get such a drink. very nice, chilled, and satisfying though tad bit sweet. overall, 7/10.

so, after a very tiring day, finally got home, earlier than my curfew! yay. WELL mum was happy though after lying down for abit.... i saw THIs little (its actually big for me) creature pop outtta the aircon hole in the wall, or so i think. it scuttled past quite fast but i think my scream was quicker. dad brought up a vacumn cleaner. naice. goodbye spider. sorry, RIP.

though one thing i SURE WASNT pleased about was a transit officer, who sneaked up behind me and said 'im assuming you dont have a train pass.'

WHAT right does he ahve in making such assumptions, what part of me makes me look like im evading the system and WHAT kinda education do they get in seying such things. pretty taken aback and yes. sigh

whats next? well that was yesterday, today is today and tomorrows UNI offers and my first everrr driving lesson. im so nervous and stoked that i dont think i even remmeber the road safetly things .... since i took the dkt test like two years ago. yes, go me! its been 2 years already and still on zero hours, no fear.... ima get to that REALL soon. wow tad bit nervous, fingers crossed all runs smooth ...

summer kind of wonderfull

so, the heat is on but that just means a better excuse to head out somewhere nice n cool to chill, and pig-out with Mr J. ;D

so the day began.... already 2pm, both parties running late. nonetheless, i was still early. by 23mins, apparently. so after a little maccas run of fries and oreo mcflurry *ahem fatty ahem* >=P it was time to chill for real, and time for a challenge.

decided to head to norita... because havent been in quite a while and well...its a perfect environment to sit back and sink into the comfy couches. So, what caught my attention was the tempting drinks on the menu. ICED GREEN MILK TEA. i dont know why but i had a sudden craving for soemthing green and cold... after good reminiscence of iced green tea cappucino from ichiban boshi. after a long decision (koz every other drink was unavailable >>) Mr J decided to settle with a ICED TARO MILK TEA. [copycat! hehe]

So, if you're asian, clearly the caption above is unnecessary (or so i think, no racism intended) but yeah.

taro milk tea: very sweet reminding me of those asian taro buns from breadtop, nice texture (does that even make sense?? loool) and very chilled and creamy. overall, 8/10 because tad bit too sweet for me, made me choke.

green milk tea: bitter compared to the taro one, but nice. i liked. especially how the icecream melts oh-so-slowly so it only has hints of sweetness [ok...i'll stop pretending to critique] but honestly, was pretty good as well, though would've been nice if it was a LITTLE bit sweeter. overall, 7/10.

hand: um what? okay...moving on LOL

well, after winning a few rounds of jenga [heheh] and forcing Mr J to accept his punishment, the trek to d.harbour started. oh-so-windy and the old 'i-spy' game really did bring back my childhood, not to mention many laughters on the way. before we knew it, the sun was setting, the wind was getting more intense... and it was time to grab a bite.

so the entrance to this cosy restaurant would've been easily missed [for someone like me who doesnt pay much attention] but situated on the outskirts of chinatown, its definatly a place you'd want to go back to. :)

so we couldnt resist after seeing the double-paged full-photo'd pics of drinks and after contemplating which one to try... we ended up with this, because it looked so pretty. ;D so before stirring, we had a taste test and apparently, the lychee liquer was rather strong, but REALLY YUMMY ;D though all i could really taste was the grapefruit juice. sour but very refreshingg and niice. ;D since ' i dont reeally drink much of cocktails', this one was pret-tay good ;D in my opinion at least... except wish the ice didnt melt so fast so it would've been still chilled. overall, 8/10
eel chahan: I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW YUMMYY the sauce of this fried rice was. omgawwwd was reallly nice and the eel was cooled really well as well, definately coming back for more. ;D 9/10 if only it didnt cool so quick and if only it wasnt gone so quick! ;D yaki udon: (aka. salty or 'yucky' udon) so i recall chosing this being tempted by the photo yet again. so i'd think i'd learn my lesson that 'photos arent necessarily that realistic' but like the seying 'you never know til you try it'. honestly, this was rather disappointing. The first taste that'd smack you would be the saltiness. waaayy tooo salty and in the end, made the drink taste like salt as well but aside from that, i guess 'yucky' was way too harsh. sorry, the name jsut sounded like it when i sed it aloud. :( Mr J got annoyed at the amount of 'colour' in this dish but i was irritated with the random sizes of the chopped veges. just didnt make me wana have seconds. overall, 4/10. Azuki bean Icecream Dessert: icecream, need i say more? ;D i loved how you could mix it up with the provided red-bean paste and how there was a bite to the icecream due to the beans. :) asian treat, cannot resist. lucky that there were two scoops and two people, easily divided though Mr J said the strawberry was sour. i wouldnt know but then again... next to ICECREAM, of course it'd taste sour. ;D i wasnt going to, but does the bowl give a homestyle feel? idk what im saying but makes me think of something i'd whack-up at home.... if only i could ;D.

overall, 8/10

Restaurant Service: 6/10 pretty slow, but maybe koz we were in a hurry.
Restaurant Setting: 9/10 LOVE how they have dividers inbetween all the tables and even bamboo-dividers for the 'bigger tables', giving each table a little privacy and comfort. very unique though there WERE long tables in the middle that felt a tad bit weird, reminding me of canteens :S [dont ask why.]
Food Overall: 7/10 since we didnt try much, but definately will be coming back ;D

dont worry, im too noob to actually food-blog since none of the jap delicacaies were tasted [i.e. sashimi, lobster etc LOL] but i tried :(. ahas hope it wasnt too boring.... ;D

so... the end of a rather long blogpost [and my fail attempts of making a review of the place] thanks for reading, those who survived. :)

its already a new day. still tired and lazing around from a 6hr shift of ups and downs but in conclusion. was long.

so the result of being kept after work for over 1 hr [after closing ] is being stuck in a shopping centre with no exits, no people, no lights, no fone reception. after roaming around for 15 mins too busy tryna rearrange shifts to realise i was trapped in a deserted shopping centre, i got called over by a security guard. um HELLO, I AM CLEARLY A WORKER THERE. ok its not THAAT easy to decipher but lets call this security guy MR S.

MR S: hey there, somebody looks abit lost? wana take the lift with me?
me:-hesitant not realising everything was closed koz too busy tryna get fone reception-
MR S: C'MON! thers no exits. this is the only way.
me: -follows finally realising all the gates n stuff were up aka ... no exits-

ok ..ok... im 18. no scary pervert story

well im alive ;D

the weathers reallly getting to me now. :( the heat unbearable but the chance of showers making it indecisive on whether to go beach. but should go...after all... beach=getting wet anyways...right? ;D idks man. no work for 2 days meaning i get a short break hahas.

currently 12:20am but waiting...patiently for the works of a special time of day. 14 minutes to go. not long. :) but for now,

so i think its a sign for me to stop trying to enter the kitchen... or to be anywhere near knives for that matter. getting cut twice in two days [hahas] really does show my clumsiness and lack of concentration. so yes. first time got owned by dicing potatoes and second.. by a watermelon, need i say more?

luckily i had good reaction and so the cuts werent TOOO bad. [yes i need to man-up] sigh. well i took one of the bandaids off koz it healed but whats left is an ugly scar on my finger. just another addition to my collection. haha yeah im clumsy ^^" and i think i've already mentioned that.

today was famtime. i still feel bad for dogging outing for today [though iv already watched tangled...] but yeah... guessing it was last day of relo's stay.... family>friends; at least for today. not much happened actually... the heat kinda took away my mood i didnt even bother to do anything except put on clothes b4 heading out.

brissy flooding is srsly =[[ i wish some of the rain came to syd... at least that'd mean no flooding for brisbane and less humidity in syd. it would've been a win-win situation. POSSIBLE SHOWERS WHOLE MONTH'S FORECAST. wtf is this. forecast playing a joke? or weather playing a joke. maybe its a sign i needa return something to someone.... hahas ;) i hope at least someone gets that.

NEW YEARRR YO;

okay... i know... im late again... its already 10 days past the new year but i guess i've jsut been lazy lately. no, even thats prob an excuse. i guess i got so bored i even changed my blog around well... so much has happened...with xmas ...check out these lights haha

yesyes... i know...pretty rude to take pics of random houses esp with the owners just standing there watching ur every move...haha nah they were really nice and yeah... the house was amazing...just... my fail mob cam couldnt show it better. oh wells.


so... what was next? aside from the little tid-bits like work and chilling out... then there was NYE. wow what a blast. it was reallllyyy niiice by the harbour watching fireworks... with trashy teens making out everywhere u turned.... grumpy adults with their SLRS... police roaming around munching hungrily on $5 hotdogs and of course... the very VERY VERRRRYYYY long toilet queue. despite the uncalled for encounters... including a not-so-friendly punch from a fight [yes... im that clumsy i walked into a fight...>>"] , a lost-and-found wallet, an angry [and pwnd] betch at the bathrooms.... fireworks were really worth it this year. ;D

NYE RESOLUTION 2011: keep in touch. try harder. get P's

so... 2010 has been quite a blast. some of the best memories made... hsc. duh but aside from that... special memories... with new friends, closer relationships, remains of highschool, the ending of a six-volumed chapter in life and on with a new book. this one... labeled 2011. whats there to expect? im quite pleased to become an actuall casual at work ;D and not xmas casual. NO MORE CHILD LABOUR. NO MORE WEAKEST LINK. and more cash rolling in ;D [hopefully if they give me more shifts.]


so... 4th of jan was a special mark of happy three :D quite happychappy heres some pics

so .... 2010 has brought by many rather pleasant surprises [not to mention the clearly stressful ones] 2011. happy 2011. :)
